Ben Swildens

Dutch designer Ben Swildens was born in 1938 and followed in his father's footsteps in architecture design. He attended the American school in Tangiers, in Morocco. Swildens attained a diploma at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1961. At the time, he began working alongside his professors and other great creative artists, whilst also collaborating with private companies.

Between 1962 to 1969, Swildens worked with Max Ingrand a master of glassworks, engaging in a range of projects including headquarters of EDF and Lima airport. Ben Swildens established Point, which produces and creates designs by himself. In 1985, he founded the Ben Swildens Design Architecture, focusing on private residences.  Swildens continues to work on architecture and design and has also adopted sculptural skills.
