Heavy Lights are the culmination of innovative manufacture, visual simplicity and the desire to challenge perception of materials. Heavy lights encapsulate the material focused approach of Benjamin Hubert studio and are designed not only to push the potential of an industrial material like concrete but also to challenge perceptions of value.
Through the skilled hand process required for production it is hoped that the user will value concrete as a luxury commodity in line with green issues and to counteract the current throwaway society. Heavy lamps utilise a material that is taken for granted in the building industry and present a high-end lighting solution elevating its material worth.
White, light grey or dark grey hand-cast concrete shade and base in natural finish with arm in Walnut or Oak veneer. Red cable with steel fittings.
