Joaquim Ruiz Millet

Joaquim Ruiz Millet can be considered a multi-faceted individual with experience working as an architect, gallerist, editor and writer. Based in Spain, he is known in the design world for his collaborative work with Barba Corsini, who remodelled the attic of Antoni Gaudi's iconic Barcelona-based building, La Pedrera.

During the restoration of La Pedrera, which took place in 1991, Ruiz Millet rescued some of Corsini's designs from being thrown out. He then worked with the designer to relaunch the designs, intending to make them better known to the public.

Miller Ruiz founded Galeria H20 in Barcelona in 1989 alongside Ana Planella and has authored numerous works of poetry and books, including 1 Empieza Acaba 1(1 Begins Ends 1) (1987), Años de Felicidad (Years of Happiness: The Core of the Resistance) (1994), and No Me Rayes (Don't Bug Me) (2003).
