Mats Theselius

Mats Theselius, born in 1956, is a Swedish furniture designer, who made his debut in the mid-eighties with the iconic Elk skin easy chair. Throughout the nineties, he became an established interior decorator, artist and designer with Nordic influences. He has since worked in ceramics, jewellery and surface design, further exploring installation and exhibitions. 

Theselius has designed many notable chairs including the Embassy chair for the Swedish Embassy in Berlin. He continues to work internationally on an array of commissions and collaborations.
