Among the furniture used in the Legislative Assembly building, is this iconic chair, a homage to Pierre Jeanneret. The seating pieces constructed of solid wood feature sidebars in an inverted “V” shape supporting the armrests. The use of a woven backrest and seat, stretched across a wooden frame and uses of teak, are commonplace in the local area.

Please note: The images of the seat with the cushion are for reference only. The cushion is upholstered in Ortigia 13L662 Amande.
