Colour Stool, 2011
Colour Stool by Scholten + Baijings for Karimoku New Standard.
Compact in size, the handy and lightweight Colour Stool is suitable for even the smallest of living spaces. Easily moved, the stool can be placed where ever it is needed - hall, kitchen, bedroom or living room.
The shape of the seat, as well as the joints between the seat and legs, are made according to the highest standards of Japanese craftsmanship.
The decorative indented grid lines are spray-painted. Any surplus paint sprayed on to the seat's surface is then manually sanded away to leave the colour only within the grooves.
Itaya maple is available in cool white with blue grid or warm white with a pink grid.
