Beetle chair unupholstered, conic base by GamFratesi for Gubi.
The Beetle dining chair was designed in 2013 and shown during the Milan Mindcraft exhibition. This annual exhibition promotes the very best of Danish design such as GamFratesi's Beetle range.
The duo was inspired by the eponymous insect and the way its hard shell protects the insect's soft body. They have recreated this shell in moulded polypropylene for a lighter expression. The chair is available in seven different colours and is equally well suited to formal or casual environments.

Materials
Tubular steel legs in black matt, chrome, brass semi-matt, black chrome or antique brass. Plastic glides.
The beetle chair is also available upholstered, with wooden legs, swivel base, or with castors.
