Hornsea Pottery has collaborated with Magpie to recreate their iconic bird design, created by John Clappison, Hornsea's chief designer in 1967.
Using original illustrations archived in the Hornsea Museum, Magpie has redrawn these beloved designs and crafted new ceramic moulds for the bird dish, glazed with the actual Hornsea colours of the era. The result is a delightfully versatile dish with vintage suggestions, perfect for serving small snacks or for storing jewellery and trinkets.
