Branch Candle Minium by Ilex Studio.
Inspired by close observation of nature and a desire to use natural materials, Ilex Studios' Branch Candle brings the beauty of the outdoors into your home.
Made from 100% beeswax and cast from tree branches found on daily walks, each edition is based on the setting of tree - the first from the series being from Ravenscourt Park in West London.
Using modern mould techniques alnon with traditional candle-making methods, each organic detail is captured – the bark, nodes, and texture of the tree’s branches.
The candle is sustainably made, and cast in Ilex's London studio. The packaging is screen printed by hand with water-based paints, on post-consumer recycled British cardstock, cut with a 150-year-old machine and held together with a simple copper staple.
