The A-DT03 Dining Table is an evolution of a rectangular table designed by Keiji Ashizawa for the Azabu Residence in Tokyo. Ashizawa has developed the design to make it better suited for commercial use; the shape and attachment angle of the legs remain the same, but the table top has been changed from rectangular to circular, giving it a lighter appearance and making it better suited for restaurant use.
The A-DT03 has been used in Swedens Restaurang ÄNG, a Michelin-starred restaurant in a contemporary glass building next to the Ästad vineyard. The table reflects Scandinavian design principles and uses peaceful materials, exploring the connections between Japanese and Scandinavian design styles.
