To mark Louis Poulsen's 150th anniversary, the Danish brand has introduced a special edition of the Panthella 160 Portable. Designed by Verner Panton in 1971, the iconic design is now available as a miniature version featuring a metalised brass detail.
When designing the Panthella, Panton aimed to create a lamp in which the base and shade would function as light reflectors. The lamp emits a soft and comfortable diffused light without glare, while the hemispherical shade directs light downwards.
The opal acrylic shade gently diffuses light, illuminating the surroundings and creating a gentle ambience through transparency and the reflection of downward light on the inner side of the shade.

Materials
The anniversary edition Panthella 160 Portable features an aluminium base and a white opal acrylic shade with metallised brass top nut.
Supplied with 1.5m USB cable (adapter not included).
Light source: Integrated LED 2700K.

This light has an IP rating of 44, meaning it is protected from solid particles that are over 1mm in size and from low-velocity sprays of water from every direction. It is not waterproof and should not be stored outside.
