Hanging Mobile 03 by Mentsen.
A thoughtful by-product of the materials cultivated at Mentsen's London-based workshop, the Mentsen Mobiles are a series of one-off, kinetic sculptures that introduce a refined whimsy into their environment.
The elegantly balanced compositions display abstract forms in natural brown hues, periodically embellished with sophisticated designs in white and warm tones, that gently sway back and forth with air circulation.
The striking designs are crafted from off-cuts of oak, ash, cherry, beech, and London Plane used initially to produce larger furniture pieces. They include a combination of forms acquired directly from the remnants box and shapes contrived from materials too small to use otherwise.
Note: Please take care when interacting with the mobiles. They are very fragile and are not intended for use as a toy.
