Anastassiades' philosophy is to produce exceptionally designed objects of permanent value. All pieces are fabricated in carefully sourced small family-run workshops selected for their unique manufacturing skills and traditional use of materials.

Pendant rod length to order. Minimum total drop length 127cm; maximum total drop length 274.4cm. Please supply the required drop length of the fixture, measured from the ceiling to the bottom of the fitting at the time of order. Please allow 25mm tolerance of drop length.

Michael Anastassiades has trained in Civil Engineering at Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine and has a masters Degree in Industrial Design from the Royal College of Art in London.

Michael Anastassiades has trained in Civil Engineering at Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine and has a masters Degree in Industrial Design from the Royal College of Art in London.

After working freelance with various renowned Design practices he set up his own studio in 1994. Since then, he has been exploring contemporary notions of culture and aesthetics through a combination of product, furniture and environmental design. Playfully positioned between fine Art and Design his unique, yet discreet work seeks to provoke dialogue, participation and interaction out of what would normally be a series of, inanimate, mundane utilitarian objects.
