Scrunch, 1999
Scrunch designed by Teppo Asikainen for Offecct.
The Soundwave series of sculptural wall panels combines functionality and aesthetics and is specifically designed to enhance the acoustic properties of any interior used for human communication and social interaction. While most acoustic products are concealed in the fabric of the interior, Soundwave resembles 3D wallpaper.
Scrunch is designed to be used as a lightweight sound absorber in the upper-frequency range (500 Hz) and above). These panels help reduce disturbing reflections of environmental sounds as voices and telephones etc.
Please note: The Scrunch is available to order in a minimum quantity of 12.
