Mikado is a chair that prioritises sustainability in its design. The upholstery is removable*, and the legs can be replaced or exchanged individually, giving you the freedom to modify the chair's appearance to match your evolving preferences and surroundings. The seat is crafted from recycled polypropylene, which can be easily separated from the foam padding during the recycling process.
*Please note that the covers must be removed by a Vitra professional. Please enquire for more details.

Materials
The Mikado Armchair is crafted with a flexible backrest and back shell in recycled post-consumer polypropylene.
The seat has an inner seat panel made from die-cast aluminium with polyurethane foam surrounding.
The base is available in a natural oak with a protective varnish.
Upholstered in Cento 07 Light Sage.
