Wire Table Lamp
Wire Table Lamp by Verner Panton for Verpan.
An avid explorer of unconventional norms, Verner Panton often favoured industrial materials like steel wire over traditional choices as they enabled him to explore unusual forms.
In 1972, Panton designed the Wire Table Lamp, a wire-framed lamp with a distinct and lightweight appearance which resembles a light bulb.
The frame, made from chromed-steel, supports a hemispherical shade that softly diffuses the light to create an atmospheric ambience.
