To celebrate their 150th Anniversary, Louis Poulsen has released a special edition of Poul Henningsen's iconic PH 5 Pendant Light.
Initially designed in 1958, Henningsen developed the PH 5 pendant light in response to bulb manufacturers' constant changes to the shape and size of incandescent bulbs. Irrespective of how the light is installed or the light source used, the PH 5 is entirely glare-free due to Henningsen's ingenious three-shade system.
The PH 5 Anniversary Edition maintains the timeless aesthetic of the original design, featuring a matte white exterior and a pale rose interior that adds a subtle warmth to the emitted light.
The spacers between the shades are crafted from metallised brass, making this special edition the first to utilise the material in a PH 5 pendant.
The Anniversary Edition PH5 Pendant will be available to purchase from the 1st of April, 2024 until the 31st of December, 2024.

The shade is crafted from spun steel and spun aluminium with rolled aluminium strut.
The shade is wet painted white on the outside with a pale rose powder coat on the inside.
Diffuser in frosted glass.
