To mark Louis Poulsen's 150th Anniversary, the Danish brand has introduced a special edition of the iconic Artichoke pendant with rose leaves and brass detailing.
Initially designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958 for the Langelinie Pavilion restaurant in Copenhagen, the PH Artichoke boasts a unique, organic shape achieved by meticulously hand-mounting 72 leaves. This placement creates a distinctive shape and ensures glare-free illumination from any angle.
Inspired by the rosy hue of the inner leaves on the original PH Artichoke, the anniversary edition shares the same aesthetics as the original, with a warmer, softer feel.
This light also marks the debut of metallised brass in the PH Artichoke line, providing a durable, glossy surface that retains its beauty over time.
The Anniversary Edition PH Artichoke will be available to purchase from the 1st of April, 2024.

Materials
Lase cut steel leaves with spun steel top shade.
The outside of the leaves are white power coated, and pale rose wet painted on the inner side.
The suspension and frame is metallised brass.

All 150 years Anniversary special editions PH Artichoke will be engraved on the white side of one of the leaves with an edition number.
