The PL4 Portable Lamp is part of the SHADES collection by George Sowden. This series of lights is the result of his discovery and experimentation with soft silicone, which is incredibly durable, non-toxic, easy to clean and diffuses light excellently.
This PL4 is a small USB rechargeable lamp that consists of a glossy yellow stand and contrasting pink shade in a unique composition of forms. When the bulb is on, the coloured silicon diffuses a soft, warm light. The light is controlled by tapping the top of the lamp and has three dimmable settings.
The lamp provides six to 20 hours of light, depending on the level of brightness when the battery is fully charged. Battery takes four hours to fully charge.
