twentytwentyone presented a selection of new and progressive designs, fresh from their launch at the Salone Milano 2009.
Working closely with a range of leading manufacturers twentytwentyone begged, borrowed - but drew the line at stealing - to gather a meaningful review of what was new in international design.
The twentytwentyone appraisal married new work from established designers such as Jasper Morrison, Sam Hecht, Konstantin Grcic and Marcel Wanders. In addition, it introduced a host of new designers such as Freshwest, Marco Dessi, Paolo Armenise and Silvia Nerbi.
Exhibited during May of 2009, the selection embraced a range of technologies, materials, forms and thought processes.
The cross-section of seating, lighting and storage on display included both prototypes and those designs newly put into production.
