45 Whitfield
Nestled around the corner from London's Goodge Street underground station is the meticulously refurbished 45 Whitfield Street.
This unique office space exudes a distinctive charm, returning to its original 1970s architecture. The building boasts striking features such as steel-framed windows embedded into the moulded concrete façade and curved timber doors that serve as an impressive entrance to the reception lobby.
Spanning five floors, the offices are bathed in natural light streaming through the rows of narrow, rectangular windows. The interior, thoughtfully designed by dMFK architects, pays homage to the building's era. It showcases a delightful blend of materials and finishes, from porcelain floor tiles to brushed stainless steel and crown-cut European oak, all complemented by a muted colour palette which fosters an environment of creativity and comfort.
The twentytwentyone contracts team supplied 45 Whitfield Street with the Kingston sofas and chairs. Designed by British designer William Plunkett in 1967, the distinctive seats, characterised by their individually padded cushions and steel-footed bases, act as inviting seating areas for casual meetings and breaks.
