Pierre Forssell

Swedish silversmith and product designer Pierre Forssell was employed as designer at Skultuna Messingbruk from 1955 to 1986.

In this time he designed a range of decorative and functional household items which are now considered classics of Swedish design.

Working with brass held a particular appeal for Forssell, and he is known for giving this traditional material an elegantly linear and distinctively modern form. His signature designs include the Pendel and Reflex wall sconces.
