In 2024, Sunspel opened the doors to its new flagship store on London’s Jermyn Street. Spanning two storeys, the store’s interior has been curated to reflect Sunspel’s commitment to British design and material excellence, creating an environment that is modern yet deeply rooted in tradition.

Dedicated entirely to menswear, the store is fittingly positioned in an area renowned for being home to some of the best tailors and clothiers in the world. Traditionally, men would have their suits made on Savile Row before crossing Piccadilly to Jermyn Street for everything else they needed: hats, grooming, fragrance, handmade shoes, and bespoke shirts.

Upstairs, the store houses Sunspel's full menswear collection, including signature pieces such as the Classic T-shirt and the Riviera Polo Shirt, originally tailored for Daniel Craig’s James Bond.

On the lower floor, an immersive brand experience brings Sunspel’s 160-year story to life. Rare artefacts, textiles, and archival objects trace the journey from its origins in industrial Nottingham through decades of innovation to the present day. The space also hosts events and personal styling appointments.

The furniture has been carefully selected to reflect a lineage of British craftsmanship. twentytwentyone supplied William Plunkett’s Kingston chairs and sofa. A hallmark of mid-century design, the chairs anchor the seating area with sculptural presence and architectural clarity. Upholstered in deep brown tones, they work in harmony with the store’s earthy palette and offer a tactile contrast to the natural wood finishes throughout.

Alongside the Kingston sits the Loop Coffee Table. Designed and manufactured in Britain by Barber Osgerby and Isokon Plus, the table provides a clean, contemporary counterpoint to the mid-century forms, reflecting Sunspel’s ongoing conversation between heritage and innovation.
