This 1962 solid wood dining table has a unique design by Hans J Wegner, featuring soft edges and rounded legs that become narrower towards the floor. The wood grains intentionally follow the length of the tabletop, supported by three rails and two removable legs at each end. With a cross-stretcher and side rails, this table offers stability and ample leg space for seating.
The CH24 chair was designed in 1949 and remains a beloved design of the 20th century. It was Wegner's first design for Carl Hansen & Son, and is known as the 'wishbone' or 'Y' chair for its iconic back shape. The CH24 is constructed using more than 100 separate production stages. Each seat has been handwoven using 120 metres of paper-cord, durable enough to last up to 50 years.
