At the beginning of the 1950s, Jean Prouvé developed the EM Table for the 'Maison-Tropique' project. The table, defined by his design right down to the very last detail, follows Prouvé's typical aesthetics of necessity. It illustrates the force path and the static connections in a way that is otherwise only featured in engineering constructions.
The height of the base is adjusted to contemporary requirements and the colour concept has been revised. The EM Table can be ideally combined with Prouve's Standard chairs, but also with various other chairs.

Materials
The EM Table is available in a range of sizes with a solid wood tabletop.
The solid wood table top is 34mm thick with an oiled finish in natural oak, dark oak or American walnut.
In addition, a veneered tabletop is available for the 200cm and 240cm long tables.
The veneer tabletop is 34mm thick in natural or dark oak veneer with a protective varnish.

Base made of bent sheet steel and tubular steel, powder-coated with a smooth finish in two different colour groups. Please enter your choice of base colour in the text box.
Colour group1: Japanese red, Deep black or Ecru.
Colour group 2: Prouvé Gris Vermeer, Prouvé Bleu Dynastie, Prouvé Blé Vert, Prouvé Bleu Marcoule, Prouvé Métal Brut.
