The classic Series 7 chair with its timeless hourglass design is a world-famous classic. The iconic stackable chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen for the H55 exhibition in Sweden, using a pioneering method of pressure-moulding the wood veneer in multiple directions.
From September 2020, the iconic chair is available in a range of new colours chosen by Carla Sozzani. She has played a significant role in bringing contemporary and historical design to its current global position, as seen in her world-famous concept-store on the Corso Como in Milan.
