Oksen Lounge Chair
Oksen Chair by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen.
Oksen, which means 'Bull' in Danish, is a bold and powerful lounge chair originally designed in 1966 and re-launched by Fritz Hansen 2017.
It took Jacobsen five years to develop and perfect the Oksen lounge chair. Many of Jacobsen's earlier designs such as the Egg and Swan chairs have rounded wholly organic shapes. Oksen, on the other hand, has a much sharper outline and angular form. It is described as the largest and most distinctive chair that Jacobsen ever designed.
