Alexander Seifried has transitioned throughout his career from a traditional woodworker to an industrial designer.
Starting as a cabinet maker at the age of 18, Seifried was the second prize winner of the Joinery Guild prize. Yet as his designs have developed, he now creates wholistic schemes for building developments; working with hotels, offices and other commercial spaces. Rooted in his wood-working background, his new work tests the material for modern life, however, they are always based on quality and craftsmanship.
The versatile contemporary designer has developed designs for Richard Lampert, frauMaier, Elmar Flötotto and Magazin.
