Francesco Rota

Born in Milan, Italy Francesco Rota is an interior and product designer. 

He studied at the Art Center College of Design in La Tour Peliz Switzerland. In 1995 he founded the Francesco Rota Design Office in Italy, collaborating with worldwide companies on numerous projects. His prominent work includes the showroom design for Versus and John Richmond and showroom design for L'Oreal, as well as, the interior design of the Oluce Factory and headquarters. 

Francesco Rota's focus is on spatial installations and he also has a home and outdoor collections for modern design company Paola Lenti. Collaborating with Oluce, Rota created pendant lamps, including the Canopy and Kin. 

Rota has been recognised and awarded for his work, including winning first prize for the International Audi Design Awards for 'Life in Motion'.
