Born in 1900 the designer and architect Jacques Adnet was a leading figure in French Art Deco. The luxury designer studied at both the Municipal School of Design in Auxerre and the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris.
His design career started after his studies, establishing a studio with his brother Jean. Their company called JJ. Adnet.
His work is now produced by Gubi, the Adnet series of mirrors and furniture using leather and glass in a modern, fluid and elegant way.
