Max Lamb is a British designer who creates exquisitely crafted objects particular to material, location, and tradition. Originating from Cornwall, England, the designer's upbringing instilled him with a love of nature, substantiated in his practice.
Lamb attended the Royal College of Art in 2006, where he studied under renowned furniture designer Tom Dixon. Shortly after graduating, Dixon offered the designer a job as a special projects designer. After that, Lamb opened his design firm and began teaching at the École cantonale d'art de Lausanne in Switzerland.
The designer earned the title of "Designer of the Future" at Design Miami/Basel in 2008 and has exhibited his work worldwide, including at the Design Museum in London, the Design Museum Gent, the Art Institute of Chicago and Somerset house.
