An evolution of Viggo Boesen's Little Petra, the Petra lounge chair shares the same aesthetics as the iconic seat - a low seat and a gracefully elevated, winged backrest - but with wider, taller dimensions.
The Little Petra was revived by &tradition in 2018 after original sketches were uncovered within a dusty cigar box in Viggo Boesen's archives. This revival heralded the chair's return to production after an absence of nearly eight decades.
The original design was named after Boesen's mother-in-law, Petra, known for her petite stature and lively personality. The new design shares the same bold personality in a larger form.
Versatility is intrinsic to Petra's design, making it an ideal choice for many spaces, from home interiors to hotel lobbies.

Base available in solid oiled oak or oiled walnut. Fully upholstered, available in fabrics and sheepskin in the following collection:

Note: Fire treatment is required for use in a public space. Furniture orders requiring FR treatment will incur a 15% upcharge, with an increase of 3 weeks to the lead time. Please enquire for further details.
