The Loafer lounge chair was commissioned for Copenhagen's famous SAS Royal hotel. Tasked with the first major renovation of the lobby since its design by Arne Jacobsen in 1960, Space Copenhagen sought to design a lounge chair that would provide an enclosed space of comfort in the hotel's enormous reception and bar area. Taking inspiration from the spiral staircase that commands the central atrium, the Loafer lounge chair wraps around the sitter and provides comfort whether sitting alone or in a group.

The Loafer lounge chair was commissioned for Copenhagen's famous SAS Royal hotel. Materials
The frame is made from wood and subsequetly covered in HR foam and polyester wadding.

Note: Fire treatment is required for use in a public space. Furniture orders requiring FR treatment will incur a 15% upcharge, with an increase of 3 weeks to the lead time. Please enquire for further details.
*Fabrics meet BS5852, Source 5 and don't require further fire treatment.
