Dark Crescent Cotton Pouch
Dark Crescent Cotton Pouch by Beatrice Larkin.
Beatrice Larkin's Crescent pattern emerged from the designer's yearning to introduce a touch of curvature to her collection. Inspired by Mid-Century designs, Larkin created an intricate drawing of the recurring motif. The marks, which resemble stitching, are intricately woven using a herringbone weave.
Crafted with sustainability in mind in Lancashire, the fabric utilised in this process is made from pre-dyed fabric scraps rejected by the clothing industry. These scraps undergo a transformative journey, being re-spun into new cones. This innovative approach gives a new purpose to discarded garments and eliminates the need for a separate dyeing phase.
