Status desk Hille 1959.
The Status range was a comprehensive range of desks, cabinets and bookcases. Its was envisaged that designs would work singularly for homes and offices, or together as a system for commercial interiors. The designs were strictly modern in appearance, with softer concessions made using decorative hardwood veneers.
The example offered is a smaller, domestic-scale single pedestal desk with mahogany veneered drawer pedestal.
The modernist design provides an enduring aesthetic and functionality.
