Biny Table Light
Biny table light by Jacques Biny for DCW éditions.
Designed in 1958, the modernist Biny range has a distinctively industrial aesthetic. The aluminium body features movable fins that can be used to direct light up or down according to the intensity needed. A wheel on the body allows control over the angle of the fins through an arc of 50°.
A steel base powder coated in black or white provides stability. The On/Off switch is on the underside of the body, making it suitable for use on a desk or bureau.
