IC F1 | IC 10 Anniversary by Michael Anastassiades for Flos.
The IC F1, designed by Michael Anastassiades in 2014, features an iridescent glass ball balancing on the edge of a narrow stem. The floor lamp was inspired by a video the Cypriot designer watched of a contact juggler spinning a set of spheres. Mesmerised by the performance, Anastassiades said there was a moment when the spinning objects appeared completely still. Anastassiades translated this moment into his signature minimalist style, creating a lamp constructed from sleek lines and perfect circles.
To celebrate ten years of the IC Collection, Anastassiades has introduced a special edition in 24-carat gold. The light is numbered and signed.
