Glas Italia has enlisted a roster of internationally renowned designers to create striking new furniture that marries progressive design with a heritage and tradition of master craftsmanship in glass.
The Collector range designed by Barber Osgerby consists of five different glass vitrines: two low glass tables and three taller glass sideboard cabinets.
"One of the reasons we did the Collector series is that we both now have such quantities of junk that we need something to put them in," the designers observe. The family of units provides a practical and elegant yet neutral setting for objects to be displayed.
The display shelves within are reached via doors at the front of the cabinet.

Materials
The cabinets have a base of solid open-pore black-lacquered ash. Tops and sides are of extra-light 8mm transparent or silvered glass with curved profile corner.
