Introducing the Lightwood collection, one of Jasper Morrisons first design projects while living in Japan. Inspired by the ability of Japanese architects and designers to make things light in appearance, Morrison combined with the expert wood craftsmanship of Maruni’s to achieve the light wooden structure and visual transparency.
The versatile lightwood armchair is offered in a choice of fabric options, the webbed seat provides an interesting contrast with the inherently solid wood frame. See 'product range' below for the various seat solutions available.

Materials
Available in maple in the following urethane coated finishes: clear, red, black, matt white. Also available in urethane coated whitish oak.
The wood used in this product is obtained from maple, oak or ash trees in North America that are managed and felled in a planned manner.
The paints, adhesives and plywood used here suppress VOC emissions in manufacturing processes and finished products.
