Lightwood Armchair | Mesh Seat by Jasper Morrison for Maruni.
Designed in 2011, Lightwood is one of Jasper Morrisons first projects designed while living in Japan. Inspired by the ability of Japanese architects and designers to make things light in appearance, Morrison combined with the expert wood craftsmanship of Maruni’s to achieve the light wooden structure and visual transparency.

Materials
The wood used in this product is obtained from maple, oak or ash trees in North America that are managed and felled in a planned manner.
All woods are available in either a clear or natural black urethane finish. Oak is also available with a whitish urethane finish.
The paints, adhesives and plywood used here suppress VOC emissions in manufacturing processes and finished products.
The seat is made from a white synthetic mesh.
