Stoneware Bird Feeder
Stoneware Bird Feeder by Pat O'Leary.
Pat O'Leary's birdfeeder combines a sculptural form with function. The feeder is hand-thrown as a single piece using Staffordshire stoneware clay mixed with a small amount of volcanic dust to create the 'speckled egg' finish.
It has been fired to stoneware temperature and is completely frost proof. The design is complete with a perch made from Buff willow grown in Somerset and a tie in leather cord.
The feeder is loved by all small garden birds, and a few big ones too!
Pat O’Leary's deceptively simple pieces are made in London, her interests lie in making simple contemporary forms.
