Eiermann E Desk

Eiermann E Desk by Egon Eiermann + Tim Schütze for Richard Lampert.

A contemporary evolution of a design classic, the Eiermann E Desk reinterprets Egon Eiermann’s iconic 1953 table frame for the needs of modern work and life. While the original Eiermann 1 Desk is celebrated for its pared-back construction and perfectly balanced ratio of material to stability, the Eiermann E carries this heritage forward with refined engineering and seamless height adjustment.

Retaining the unmistakable tubular steel base, the Eiermann E Desk has been reimagined by designer Tim Schütze, drawing inspiration from the precision of 3D-printer mechanics. Its off-centre cross frame is soldered for rigidity and made from thicker 28mm tubing, increasing stability while preserving the purity of the original design.

The desk features smooth electric height adjustment via discreetly mounted control buttons beneath the tabletop, allowing effortless transitions between sitting and standing. The tabletop comes with pre-drilled holes for straightforward mounting to the frame.

Highly adaptable and carefully detailed, the Richard Lampert Eiermann E Desk has the timeless functionalism of the classic while meeting the demands of contemporary working environments.
