Eiermann M Desk
Eiermann M Desk by Egon Eiermann + Tim Schütze for Richard Lampert.
A modern reinterpretation of a celebrated classic, the Eiermann M Desk updates Egon Eiermann’s 1953 table frame for today’s working and living environments. The original Eiermann 1 Desk is valued for its minimalist construction and perfectly judged balance of material and strength. Building on these principles, the Eiermann M introduces refined engineering and a precisely tuned manual mechanism for accurate height adjustment.
Retaining the unmistakable tubular steel base, the Eiermann M Desk has been re-envisioned by designer Tim Schütze, drawing on the mechanical clarity of high-precision 3D-printer systems. Its off-centre cross frame is soldered for added rigidity and made from thicker 28mm tubing, increasing stability while staying true to the spirit of the original.
Height adjustment is achieved manually via a smooth-running spindle-belt mechanism that enables effortless transitions between working positions. The tabletop comes with pre-drilled holes for secure, easy mounting to the frame.
Thoughtfully engineered and highly adaptable, the Richard Lampert Eiermann M Desk preserves the timeless functionalism of the classic while providing a robust, analogue solution for contemporary workspaces.
