1 Leadenhall

Occupying the 22nd and 23rd floors of One Leadenhall, The Work Project marks the Singapore-based co-working brand’s first London location. Set within a new 35-storey office tower, designed by Make Architects and positioned alongside the Grade II-listed Leadenhall Market, the workspace combines panoramic views of the city skyline with a hospitality-led approach to flexible working. Furniture throughout was supplied by the twentytwentyone contracts team, helping to shape a series of dynamic environments for work, collaboration, and relaxation.

Flooded with natural light, the interiors take full advantage of their elevated setting. In the lounge areas, MR low tables by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for Knoll sit comfortably amongst streamlined seating arrangements, their restrained profiles preserving uninterrupted sightlines across London. Nearby, Glas Italia's Illusion Pedestals display sculptural arrangements in the reception spaces, while Parade table lamps introduce a soft geometric glow that echoes the forms of the surrounding skyscrapers.

The kitchen serves as a social anchor within the workspace. A palette of warm neutrals accented with deep burgundy creates a sense of intimacy against the backdrop of the city beyond. Betty bar stools by &Tradition gather around a generous island, while a Fris pendant introduces a layer of diffused light and reinforces the project's recurring use of glass and reflective surfaces.

Elsewhere, matching Betty dining chairs are paired with Metal Dowel Pedestal tables, their burgundy tops adding depth and continuity throughout the scheme. Margas lounge chairs sit against rich red wallcoverings alongside HAY Slit tables, creating quieter corners for informal meetings and focused work. Vibrant green panelled walls are punctuated by Mentsen Melina wall lights, introducing both warmth and rhythm to circulation spaces.

Positioned to frame views of The Shard, Adell Lounge Chairs are paired with Pon and Ghia coffee tables to create more relaxed seating areas. Throughout the project, Parade table lamps act as a recurring design element, creating continuity across the different spaces while reinforcing the balance between workplace functionality and residential comfort.

By combining carefully considered furniture with expansive views and hospitality-inspired interiors, The Work Project London offers a contemporary workspace shaped as much by experience as by function.
