Catapults & Key Hooks Making Event
Join us on Saturday for the book launch of Geoffrey Fisher‘s Catapults & Key Hooks: Everyday objects made from foraged and gathered wood.
Geoffrey will be at our Upper Street store on Sat 3rd Nov between 11am-2pm to show how to use foraged wood to make everyday functional designs. He will also be signing copies of his new book.
His work is the result of a profound connection with the Buckinghamshire woodlands that surround his studio in High Wycombe. Using traditional woodworking techniques, he crafts wooden trooks into handmade, characterful collections of toys and accessories for the home. Each functional piece utilises its natural form, making it unique.
Catapults & Key Hooks details how to how to forage responsibly with detailed, illustrated guides on how to recreate his unique and sustainable products. The handbook offers practical advice on the essential toolkit, including how to work safely and to achieve the highest of standards, whether you’re crafting a gift or a new household accessory.
