2. Elle Decoration
In the summer issue of Elle Decoration, Francesca Perry spotlights one of Britain's most prolific designers, William Plunkett. Featuring his iconic Kingston Chair, originally designed in 1967 as part of a modular seating collection, the article revisits a period in design defined by bold intentions and a freedom of form. After discovering William Plunkett's work in the late 1990s, twentytwentyone founders Tony Cunningham and Simon Alderson brought the Kingston range back into production in 2000. Distinctive in both form and function, the design remains as striking and relevant today as when it was first conceived.
