Antonio Citterio has been at the forefront of commercial design since the 1970s. The trained architect moved into design working initially with Terry Dwan, then as a teacher at the Domus Academy, in Milan in the early 1990s.
However, in 1999 he founded his own practice with Patricia Viel. The multidisciplinary is famous for his classic, industrial-inspired furniture and lighting. These designs have been produced by B&B Italia, Flexform, Kartell, Vitra and Flos. The architect and designer is still collaborating on projects today.
