Arihiro Miyake
Arihiro Miyake was born in 1975 in Kobe (Japan), where he graduated from Kobe Design University in 1999. He then moved to Finland and took a Master degree in furniture and spatial design at Aalto University in 2002.
He worked for Ikka Suppanen and Yrio Wihermo in Helsinki before setting his own studio, “Studio Arihiro Miyake”, in 2004.
The studio has gained an international contract clientele working on diverse design projects such as HElsinki bakery in Osake, Marimekko shop in Helsinki and is designing furniture pieces manufactured by TM (Belgium).
Arihiro also teaches at the Helsinki University of Art and Design.
