B+A Needham
The brothers Barry and Adam Needham's paperweight design was invented in 1968. The resin ball which encapsulates a dandelion seed head is treated with a UV filter to preserve and protect the flower. The aim of the designers was "to create the unusual, bordering on the impossible".
