Daniel Rybakken is a Norweigian designer from Oslo. Born in 1984, he studied at the School of Architecture and the School of Arts & Crafts in Gothenburg. After these studies, he formed his own design practice in the city.
His work balances between art and design, playing with forms but equally creating limited edition products, installations for showrooms and museums but also selling unique prototypes. His work in 2014 was the awarded the Compasso d’Oro by ADI, the first Scandinavian designer to win the Italian prize.
